Paris, June 2019 – Multistation, leading player in the field of additive manufacturing, presents at the Paris Air Show many innovations

CREATION OF ADDITIV3X

Multistation SAS brings together its activities within a dedicated subsidiary company: ADDITIV3X, 3x represent explain, explore and experiment. ADDITIV3X provides high-level services throughout the whole value chain of additive manufacturing, from the product-process qualification to the integration of the technologies.

WAAM METAL ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING

WAAM wire arc additive manufacturing is attracting more and more the aeronautics, this process consists of using arc welding to produce good raw materials. The German manufacturer GEFERTEC, leader of this technology, will present its achievements and has already several aeronautical references including Aircraft Philipp Übersee GmbH & Co. KG, Harlow Group.

We will also exhibit parts produced by LMD (laser metal deposition) with OPTOMEC, by cold jet with SPEED 3D or by “binder jetting” with our new partner EXONE. In SLM, we collaborate with AMPRO Innovations, whose aeronautical expertise responds to more and more targeted requests. Also, presence of METROM with its mobile machines, multi optional hybrid systems.

NON-METAL ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING MOVE TOWARDS CONTINUOUS COMPOSITE FIBER

To support the growing demand for continuous composite fiber technologies, Multistation decided to cover all dimensions with three partners of choice: the small machines of ANISOPRINT presented on the stand, the CEAD modular systems and INGERSOLL‘s very large MasterPrint with its printing volume of thermoplastic parts of 7x3x14m.

Also, for composites, the presence of LT (laminating technologies) thermo-cladding machines, PANINI autoclaves, EASTMAN textile cuttings …

AERONAUTICAL MACHINING

The German company HAMUEL presents its 5 Axis machining machines for blades and blisks of turbines. WALDRICH COBURG gets a foothold in the aeronautics with his TAURUS.
