Multistation Reaches Agreement with Arevo

Multistation announces the signing of an agreement with AREVO  for the distribution of continuous carbon fiber composite parts In France.

Multistation SAS and AREVO, a manufacturer for industrial 3D printers, agreed to the collaboration as of July 2021. Multistation will now distribute AREVO’s large-format composite parts in France.

AREVO offers a printing service for Nylon-12-with continuous Carbon Fibers (50% fiber volume content) parts. With a maximum print volume of 1000x1000x830 mm, it is now possible to print large-format composite parts in continuous fibers. AREVO uses a DED extrusion head: The filament is treated by a laser, then compressed by a roller, before being deposited on the printing bed. Thanks to this technology, the final parts have reliable mechanical properties, while ensuring a considerable mass gain compared to parts printed with metal.

AREVO’s AQUA System machine, with its patented DED printing hardware, high-performance thermoplastic materials, and proprietary software is a real feat in terms of production of composite parts. It’s capable of printing large and lightweight parts in popular verticals like aerospace, drones, automobile, e-mobility, heavy industry as well as in consumer/sporting goods.

AREVO set up a printer farm in Vietnam to ensure the mass production of composite parts. Their engineers carry out the feasibility study, development, benchmarking and production of parts in series.
