AM 4 AM, a producer of metal powders for Additive Manufacturing based in Foetz, Luxembourg, has acquired a BOLDseries from One Click Metal (Tamm, Germany) through reseller Multistation. This purchase follows a recent successful seed funding round of €1.3 million, aimed at expanding the company’s processes and materials portfolio. To support the testing of powders under development, AM 4 AM sought a Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB)Additive Manufacturing machine.
The BOLDseries is a compact and flexible solution that includes a depowdering and sieving station (MPURE). This equipment is designed to optimize material properties while reducing powder consumption, allowing AM 4 AM to efficiently develop new metal powders that meet stringent quality standards.
Maxime Delmée, co-founder and CEO of AM 4 AM, stated:
“Acquiring the BOLDseries from One Click Metal represents a significant milestone for AM 4 AM. Multistation played a crucial role in guiding us toward the best solution for our powder development activities. The lab module provided with this equipment is particularly well-suited for performing multiple iterations of material development. It will allow us to efficiently define the best material compositions while consuming minimal resources. This acquisition reinforces our commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology into our operations and staying competitive in the Additive Manufacturing landscape.”
This investment highlights AM 4 AM’s dedication to developing innovative, high-quality metal powders while optimizing its processes.
